Plot Summary: To Aru Kagaku no Railgun (とある科学の超電磁砲^?, lit. A Certain Scientific Railgun) is an anime series based on a spin-off manga to the light novel series To Aru Majutsu no Index, focusing on the adventures of Mikoto Misaka and her friends. The anime is produced by J.C. Staff and began airing on October 2, 2009. It features two pieces of theme music, one opening theme and one ending theme.
