4Kids Rebranding CW4Kids to “Toonzai.”
One of America’s largest Anime Licensing and Distributing companies, 4Kids Entertainment, has confirmed that it will be “rebranding” the CW4Kids programming block. 4Kids has released information regarding the new name of the CW4Kids: “Toonzai.” 4Kids CEO, Alfred Kahn, has said that “4Kids needs to return to its roots”, and in doing so, is retaining licenses and distributing Yu-Gi-Oh! and Sonic X, with the new addition of Dragon Ball Z Kai. Also confirmed, were several new Anime series beginning airing on Toonzai. The titles of which are still unconfirmed, but more news regarding that will come to light soon.
