Cencoroll 2 Anime in the Works!

Atsuya Uki has recently announced on his personal website, that he’s green-lit production on Cencoroll 2. The first Cencoroll Anime short’s story starts off when a huge monster sends the town’s citizens into a panic – except for a young girl named Yuki, and her friend/classmate, Tetsu. Tetsu also happens to have a strange pet, named Cenco, which also happens to be one of the creatures. Another boy named Shuu controls the monster that is attacking the town, and thus the stage is set for an epic battle.

Atsuya Uki wrote, directed, designed, and animated the first Cencoroll Anime series all himself, and it premiered at Canada’s Fantasia 2009 Festival. It also opened on New York, at the New York Anime Festival, and Tokyo, Osaka.
