Bandai’s mobile phone website, m-pub.channel.or.jp is hosting an image that reads as follows:
New Code Geass Project Launch Green-Lit!
Wait for more info in 2010!!
The image also adds that this project represents a “rebirth” and that Geass will take a new step starting today. The message is signed with the name, “ZERO.”
In the January 2009 issue of Gakken’s Animedia magazine, the Sunrise anime studio indicated the possibility of more plans for its Code Geass science-fiction franchise. Sunrise created and animated the Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion television anime series and its R2 sequel. Sunrise did not indicate the format that any hypothetical future plans might take. The Adult Swim television programming block ran Bandai Entertainment’s adaptation of the R2 sequel in North America.
This is good news for all Code Geass fans! After all the petitioning, all the whining, and all the complaining, Code Geass Season 3 is finally going to hit the Green Screen. Next year is going to be an awesome year, that’s for sure. We’ll be updating everyone when any new news is released regarding Season 3. So stay tuned, and check back often!

The January issue of Kadokawa Shoten’s Newtype magazine is announcing on Thursday that Tomomasa Takuma (Code Geass: Nightmare of Nunnally, Kurogane Communication) is drawing a manga that is tentatively titled Code Geass: Shikkoku no Renya (Code Geass: Jet-Black Renya or Code Geass: Renya of the Blackness) next year. Goro Taniguchi, the director and story co-creator of the original Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion television anime series, created the new manga’s story concepts and is scripting the story. This is the first manga that Taniguchi is directly scripting himself.
The story takes place in the same official Code Geass history as the anime, but in a different era. The title character, Renya, is a 17-year-old boy with a mechanical left arm and shuriken throwing stars as his weapons of choice. The story begins when Renya encounters a mysterious, perpetually young witch named “Reifū C.C.” C.C. has appeared in Japan’s historical Edo era to seek a new partner for a covenant. Meanwhile, a mysterious man, with a striking resemblance to the character Lelouch of the original anime, also appears with unknown intentions.

I would truely love to believe that you are right about Jan. 27,2012 being the day of R3′s long awaited release, but I know that its not happening. After all, even if they FINALLY got around to making the 3rd season, there’s no way it will be posted on line that day. more likely it would be in some video store in Japan. This of course means that it will be MONTHS until a subtitled (let alone dubbed) version will become available for watching online.

I’ve been waiting for SO LONG to hear solid information on weither oro not there will be a 3rd CODE GEASS season that I have given up all hope of such a beautifull dream comming true.
I admit that I have often checked YouTube.com for any CODE GEASS postings or trailers but All I’ve found are alternate openings, endings, and fan created clips (some of those were very well done).

There is no R3 these kinds of anime only run for two seasons, akito of the ruined land is an ova (movie) that is set at the same time of the back rebellion.

this is true, and its an tv aired anime, dont believe me check out the official Code Geass site…. in Japanese but still it has the r3 pictures everywhere on it, also they already have the main cast set for it so we can expect it very soon hopefully late summer early autumn , besides the manga has been out for quite a long time now, i would have read it myself but dont want spoilers x3

I just finished watching the whole two seasons. I am so glad I just so happen to come upon the anime. I was originally attracted by an image of C. C. But with that said I think it was the most brilliant anime that I have seen. But I do think that we were robbed to some degree in a small respect. I was eagerly waiting and hoping to see more intimate moments between Villetta and Ohgi. I wish that there were close-up with more detail showing more emotional and facial expression changes. I wanted to see Villetta’s moment of realization in her face; that moment of surrender. That moment of her full surrender to LOVE. I wanted to see the moment scene when Ohgi proposes to Viletta. I wanted to see her response. I would have liked to have seen C.C.’s reaction to witnessing the marriage proposal. See C.C. reflecting and imagining herself as having her moment of saying “yes”. I wanted to see the marriage. I wanted to see the time of their first child born. I would like to have seen kallen find love and marry as well as the General. It would have been nice to have seen an “I love you” said between Lelouch and C.C. and to have seen the emotional and passionate receiving reaction of being glad to have it. The same goes for Ohgi and Villetta. I know I may be turning this into a love story. But I feel that after fully enjoying and watching the whole thing, at the very least we are deserving of having the things that I mentioned as part of the story line.
Questions about the overall subtext.
When Charles said to Lelouch that there was only one human, is he hinting to the fact that the whole world was the world created from one person, that the world might be a giant program. Something like the Matrix. Because come to think about it, they were all ways saying recover the data.

I know that there is going to be an OVA called Nunnally in Wonderland, comes out July 27th 2012 ( * ) and the third season is suppose to come out in 2012 but i do not know when and something totally irrelevant but, anyone who likes yaoi, read the next part….. if you love Junjou Romantica, there is going to be a third season in 2012 ( * ) I hope this was helpful!!!!
