FUNimation, one of America’s largest Anime licensors and distributors, has recently announced at its Anime Central panel, this Saturday, that it has acquired the license for Akihisa Ikeda’s vampire Anime, Rosario + Vampire.

For those of you who don’t know what Rosario + Vampire is (shame on you!), it revolves around an ordinary hich school guy, who is denied entry to any private academy, except one – which as it happens, is filled with supernatural creatures, disguising themselves as humans. To survive and fit in, the main protagonist must pretend he’s a supernatural creature himself.

I liked Rosario and Vampire I think Caitlin Glass should play Moka and Laura Bailey should play Moka’s other side. Luci Christian Should be Yukari. As for the others I have some ideas but I’m not sure.

Rosario+Vampire was a good show, if you could ignore all the perverted stuff and focus on the plot. But the manga was better.

I believe they should make a dub that follows the Manga more then anything

People who think this anime isnt worth dubbing are people who shouldn’t bother watching anime since this anime has the same material other animes have if thekid thinks that this anime shows ecchi. Sounds to me he needs to grow up a bit more to find it even better ^^ But this anime is like an original for me and I liked it, it was my 1st anime Ive seen in the internet so I hope for the best of the dubbing of Rosario + Vampire and hopefully FUNimation doesn’t tamper with the episodes and take out stuff =\ Just saying.

i liked the anime it was pretty good the plot was decent but i could live with out most of the panty shots but i love the manga its soooo much better. i say let them dub it i cant wait to see what they do with it ^^

sad face to all you hatters i loved the series, and yes i could have done with out the panty shots. in all the whole idea is fantastic. in fact it has given me an idea to the next book i will be writing. if i ever get the time between school and my life. but dont hate it for what the content of images. love it for what it is about. it can relate to millions of people. have you ever felt alone. not a good fealing. it was in inspration how these two people (yes fictonal) that are from two parts of society can over come thier difrences and live side by side.

thekid needs to shut their mouth, because clearly they have no taste in anime, this site isn’t for haters, so hater get hell off this site and stop wasting everyones time because no one gives a shit what you have to say, do the world a favor and just disappear because you’re just a waste of precious life that could be being used for loving instead of hating, this world has enough hate we don’t need anymore! And all that aside this was an amazing anime series!

I seriously think they should make one that actually follows the actual manga cuz than you don’t get a good sense of what the story is. So far the episodes are nothing but a bunch of half naked girls that are monsters and a lucky kid. But in the actual manga itself the story is deeper and the romance isn’t completely half assed. Also Tsukune actually learns how to fight as well as become the strongest protagonist. I think if they really go with this they will be wasting time until a true version of the story came out in anime form. I love the comedy aspect and the story it has incredible potential. However the anime doesn’t do it justice. As for people who are against haters I understand where both of your a coming from. This is an amazing story just covered by alot of giant boobs and other un-needed crap. That nobody wants to deal with. Other than that if it wasn’t for this I’d hate vampires forever thanks to pathetic twilight. But this is a story with characters that make twilight saga a complete waste of time for vampire fans.

Make one that actually follows the manga? No offense, but Funimation doesn’t make anime (at least I don’t think they do), they only dub it. Besides, you’re basically asking Gonzo to give R+V the same treatment that Dragon Ball Z got (i.e. make another version that cuts out most of the filler, follows more closely to the manga (which would make the anime series a lot longer), and has better voice actors).

I understand what you’re saying, and I respect your thoughts on the anime. However, Gonzo isn’t just going to make a “Rosario + Vampire Kai” just so that people will get a “true to the manga” experience, and I don’t see them making it anytime soon. Let’s just be glad that the anime is getting dubbed in the first place.

As for the main topic here, I honestly think that Josh Keaton (the guy who voiced Spiderman in Marvel Vs. Capcom 3) would make a decent voice for Tsukune (that’s just me, though). And maybe Luci Christian might make a decent Kurumu Kurono (again, that’s just what I think).

i think they should dub it leave the show the way it is and keep making episodes. though if moms and dads dont want their kids watching it then put it on adult swim. and lastly it is awesome!!

when compared to the manga rosario vampire (anime) was no where near as good, but as just an anime i liked it (probably because i watched anime before i knew there was manga) although i wish they had made the anime like the manga then it would have been really epic

I think the anime was pretty great but also loved the manga original. I actually enjoyed how it differed (Dont know bout other people but sometimes if the show is identical to the manga in every way I get bored cause I know whats about to happen.) Do agree they shoulda given Tskune the goul treatment though, especially in Capu 2. Anyways, as for voice actors id want Vic Micnogna as Gin. That part is def his style.

Laura Bailey is Kurumu

Yuri Lowenthal is Tsukune

Stephanie Sheh is Moka (both inner and outter)

Colleen O’Shaughnessey is Yukari

Kate Higgins is Mizore

Crispin Freeman is Ginei

Bridget Hoffman is Ruby

Unfortunately I can’t tell you when it’s coming out yet, but I will keep you posted. When my friend who works at FUNimation tells me I’ll be sure to let you guys know ASAP ^^
