Shonen Sunday‘s 47th issue is announcing next week that they’re going to give the thumbs-up for production on a Live Action TV Series Adaptation of Takashi Hashiguchi and Kenzou Irie’s medical Manga, Saijou no Meii. The plot centers around a young pediatric surgeon.

The new series will premiere January, 2011, and will run on TV Tokyo and its affiliates every Monday at 10pm.
